This article is bulls**t. I live in Brazil and the thumbs-up means what it's supposed to, it's not offensive. The A-OK is also just OK, nothing about anus. The Corna, however, can mean two things, the rock-and-roll attitude or the cuckhold. BURIED!!!

The "thumbs-up" does not mean "middle finger" in Greece: it is used just like in the Western world.And as some other people have mentioned the article also has more inconsistencies.Buried as inaccurate.

I second that. I'm from the Caribbean, and I'm now in south America, and I've yet to see a place where it's an insult. So the whole thing looses credibility to me.
