I am a 34 year old male software engineer in Canada, and there is hardly a single person in my social circle that doesn't have a Blackberry, or believes in Angels, Gods and Fairies. Around here, I would be quite surprised (and fascinated) if I ran into someone my age or younger these days who believes in God.

This is one of the only responses to this article/discussion that I've read that actually has validity and thought to it. I applaud that. There were a few others, but by a few, I literally mean 3 or 4. Most everyone else finds a deep compassion buried down deep that spills forth with "F*** You". Which, I know by my standards is quite the good argument. ... Thanks for using that brain of yours Lando.

I dont see how that "bests God", but he created us with minds of our own, and the ability to reason, imagine, learn. All he asks in return is that we believe in him and thank him for that gift.
