technology.guardian.co.uk— Two years ago most Britons didn't have broadband and Web 2.0 was barely a twinkle in a developer's eye. Things have changed - as our cream of the crop for 2006 shows

Probably a better title would be "The new 100 most useful sites for Britons". I found the list somewhat UK-centric. Anyway, it was informative in the sense that it had a few sites I was unaware of.
some of the anti-Guardian comments here surprise me. I am not a regular reader, perhaps because it does not deploy flamebaiting and sensational journalism to attract or keep readers as many of its competitors. But when I do choose to pick one, its is a good intelligent read. Leads me to think that the anti-Guardian comments are from those who simply want to say something for the sake of it (mebbe to get dugg).IMO, the list reflects the evolution of the web and is a good reference point by various categories.

@OnymousHero - No, the Guardian's actually quite reliable. It's the Sun you gotta watch out for.
