To the people who think that owning a large number (let's say 5 to 15) of guns makes a person so dangerous....What is it that you think someone could do with 15 guns that they couldn't do with just 1?
"they day dream about some 'ethnic' BUGLER [emphasis mine] creeping into their house and night and meeting swift justice from hot lead."Yep--you nailed it, glasnostic. We obsess over the threat of some non-white person sneaking into the house and playing "Reveille" ;-).If this is the quality of opposition to gun rights, I can't figure out why a single gun law stands.
Stevets. I realize this is a reply that took a while to type up. But understand this:Why the bloody hell shouldn't these people have to go through the same kind of crap that any other respectable business has to go through with an FFL? Why the hell not? Tell me that.
It's called the gun show loophole not because there is an actual loophole, but that it is common knowledge that these kinds of transactions regularly take place at gun shows.
I went to the local gun store to buy my first shotgun. I have no convictions of ANY infraction other than speeding. I was flagged apparently because of my military background! It took a while for the check to come back cleared and I have to fill out some forms to make sure this doesn't happen again.

@RawSHarkThat is precisely; but to gun control people, private commerce is very nefarious indeed!
