megatonik.com — We’ve taken the time to outline the best upcoming games for all consoles that are, at this moment, planned to be released in 2007. There seem to be a huge amount of great-looking games releasing this October and November, so stop eating for a week, sell a kidney, or do whatever you have to fill up your wallet.

Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles alone is enough to get me through the end of the year, which is good because I can't afford all of these games. Contra 4 and Galaxy are the only other big titles that I'm going to get asap; the rest I'll wait and get them cheap on ebay in 2008.

Why the f**k isn't Unreal Tournament 3 up there with Crysis and Call of Duty 4?

There is only one PC game in anticipation. I used to agree with you, but the PC gaming industry is stagnating while the developers are jumping on the console band wagon. If you can make 300 million in a week on a game console release, PC gaming is going to suffer greatly while this is possible. The problem with PC gaming is that you have those people with cheap-ass systems expecting games like Crysis to run, and thus the game suffers from long development while the developers try and optimize the game on multiple (and often lousy) configurations. Its why Half-life 2 took 6 years. Had HL2 been developed for a game console, it would have taken a lot less time as they don't have to worry about multiple configurations, they know what the game is going to run on. I would much rather invest in a game console and have a basic computer then the other way around, its gotten to the point where there are more fun titles on a game console then on the PC these days.

Seriously Me and my girl love to play co-op on these games. She helped me through both Gears of War and Halo3. Im trying to find another co-op game to play soon. God I love this girl.

COD4 is all I need. The amount of fun to be had on the Multiplayer is enough to keep me satisfied for the next 6 months or so.

They missed Nights: Journey of Dreams for the Wii. It would at least make my list of most anticipated.
