I like that guy. Like the way he writes, it's clear and easy, fresh and cutting...But still, I would love to be able to ask him his own questions back!

An interesting list of points. I think everyone has felt that tons of energy can go wasted on spending tons of time and frustration in the execution phase without having clearly set Strategy of Tactics first. I never thought of Attitude coming first though. That's an interesting idea.

This is so true! I spend lots of time giving clients advice about strategy and then helping them execute. But in order for me to be successful with them, those other things like attitude and approach must be in alignment with my own. At times it feels almost as difficult as finding the right person to marry. Other times, it seems to happen effortlessly. This is worthy of an entire book. How much more productive would all of us be if we were working with people whose attitudes aligned with our own? The smartest companies interview people with this in mind, and make it an even more important factor than specific experience. It's making me wonder, is there a repeatable process where I can do the same when searching for new clients?
