There are children and families in America who don't have enough to eat. There is no reason why anyone should be hungry in this country. That's the problem. It's insulting to humanity and to decent people that people like you think it's alright for anyone to be hungry or to live without healthcare. You have a right to do what you want with your money? I don't think so. Not when others suffer because you're selfish. We need a Socialist revolution so we can catch up to civilized countries who take care of their people. It's Americas great shame the we use our "freedom" to justify selfish greed. People like you don't choose to do good. You have to be forced too. You sickening animal.
Um I don't care how poor I am I'm not eating something off a stranger's plate. When I cooked we ate the oops orders that were caught before they went to the table, though.
Why aren't you considering other uses for expired or gross food? Stale bread we feed to wild birds, fruit and vegetables we compost, my dogs are designed to eat spoiled meat, our chickens love wilted salad greens, my rabbit eats veggie ends. Hardly any of our food goes to waste, weather it is inedible by the standard definition or not! The process of filtering leavings saves us money on pet food and helps us to grow better a better garden and tastier chickens to feed ourselves with. We can extra produce and use as much of the bones (for stock) and feathers (for dreamcatchers and other crafts) from the chickens as possible. I use household trash to produce my art (mosaics etc), and give old egg cartons to neighbors to hold eggs from their chickens and dog food bags to neighbors who use them for lawn waste. ANYONE can think of other uses for household waste if they choose to.

Why don't the city governments put homeless shelters next to bakeries or vice versa, so all this perfectly good food wouldn't go wasted...?
