youtube.com — WARNING! This video contains ultra-sound frequencies that may be harmful for your pets or young family members! This is a display of membrane resonances: powerful speaker is connected to a tone generator and covered by plywood. Lose rice, when poured on top, forms unique geometrical shapes. This effect might explain some famous crop circles.

On top of that... How many of you guys have ultrasonic transducers for computer speakers?

Nay, he was saying 22.05KHz is hardly "ultra sound" being that the sample rate dictates a maximum frequency of 22.05KHz. The audio track of the video simply is not resolute enough to replicate an ultrasonic frequency. The stars would really have to align to damage hearing as a result of some magical frequency that 1) couldn't be produced by such a low sample rate and 2) couldn't be produced by the average speaker. How about some critical thinking before you lambast someone based on your assumptions?

That was really something. Some of the patterns were really beautiful.
