osswin.sourceforge.net— Stuck with windows ? Sick of being a "software pirate" ? There`s a free / open-source alternative for every commercial application.

I find the Ext2FSD driver to be useful for when I want to access my Linux partitions in Windows. My music is all on an Ext3 partition (it has read access though write is still a bit fuzzy) so it stops me needing to either copy all the music or put up with Fat32's quirks wrt permissions in Linux.
MediaMonkey is a lot like Amarok, only it's not open-source. I know that open-source is the whole point of this list, but MediaMonkey is better than anything on the list, and it's free.
Nice list. There is some good stuff, a lot of unfinished stuff and some plain bad stuff. In other words, the list itself is an argument both for and against Open Source. The limited amount of business software (any decent payroll software???) tends to validate the argument that Open Source will never be able to satisfy the needs of business users. And business users make up the majority of computer users in the marketplace.

Stuck with windows? No, not really. Quite glad to use it actually. Unlike what you've heard, it's not really as hellish as mac users think.

Forgot to mention one of the most glaring (that I noticed) omittions in the first section. Audacity ( http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ ). Great open source audio editing software.
