The ONLY reason Bing will become #2 is because MS will make it the default search engine in Windows. That's IT, and that's why MS is so hated. They don't need to compete, they can just bully their way into the market.

@Chirp, the pictures load after the page loads, so you can search before the picture even shows up unless you have high speed internet. The image in the back is just an extra.

Google is my "Bing-a-ling"

Search results are the same. Bing has a hideous landing page like a church website designed mid 90s *and* it's a MS brand. So, I'll stick with google because there is -2 reasons to leave.

The bottom line is that most people don't even call it a web search anymore - they "google" it. It will be hard to beat a web search that is so intertwined with the online culture that it has become a verb. Just like other products we use ("Kleenex","Post-Its"), we should refer to these items as tissues or sticky notes, but we don't because the brand is injected itself into our culture.

What's in a name?Google sounds like a description of soft fluids bubbling gently out of a baby's mouth.Yahoo is a Scottish slang term for an idiot or otherwise objectionable person.Bing is half a movie star.Did anyone think to call a browser netsearch?
