A guy I work with is pretty good friends with Mark Mallory. From what he was told, he did it for publicity's sake. He pitched left-handed, and he's a rightie. It must've worked, because a week later he was on some talk show, explaining his 'bad pitch'.
How about that strike W threw after 9/11? That gives me goosebumps. George H.W. played first base for Yale's baseball team while in college. He was the captain.
Wow this was definitely last year. Thank goodness Nick Lachey threw the opening pitch this year. Opening day sucked this year for the reds, 30s and snow/rain. Mayor Mallory happens to be gay, not that that would have anything to do with throwing worse than a girl...lol
