The New York Times just had an article about how the Pinto, the Gremlin and the Vega killed Americans' faith in domestic cars. Still, we used to have a Corvair and I loved it. Certainly not the safest, or the fastest, but I dunno if it deserves to be called the ugliest... Now the Pacer, on the other hand...
