the 8 hour work day is a joke. no one can actually do that much "productive" work a day, 5 days a week. if people spent less time at work, they'd get more done. most people are so exhausted from trying to look bust, they can ever get anything meaningful done. if you do 2 hours of work a day, you'll be ahead of most.
I can't believe how many diggs you're getting, that's ridiculous. It all depends on what line of work you're in I suppose, but most I can guarantee you it is possible. We are just become a lazy race of people. This about 50 years ago, people didn't fart around nearly as much as we do now (I'm sure they did to some extent, but its ridiculous the laziness of today). Or even go back later in time, if you didn't work that much you were probably going to starve or go without something. Sure this might be physical labour, which I suppose may be easier(!?!) to get a full day of work in because your mind won't wander.I know what ninja is saying is what a lot of people thing and believe is true but I think that's just because people like thinking that so they don't feel bad about how lazy they are. I also realize I'm on digg where a lot of people come to waste time, so bury me all you like....lazy bastards.
