Very instructive for a young graduate like myself. Simple explanation and very persuasive. Thanks

I graduated from an entrepreneurship program in the Marriott School of Management at BYU. I loved the education, but one downside was dealing with exactly what Guy is talking about here. There are so many caught up in the romantic idea of what being an entrepreneur means that they overlooked the work that preceded it. All of the speakers we had were those that had already harvested and that's what a lot of the aspiring entrepreneurs were dreaming of right out of college. All people would talk about was which start up they were going to work for and how there was huge potential in it. I completely agree with Guy's comments. There are plenty of great recent college grads and there isn't anything wrong with VCs or wanting to get in on investments, but even Mike Moritz would agree that hard work comes first.
