techdirt.com — A bunch of iPhone users in Vermont have had to go virtually underground to get and use iPhones. The problem, apparently, is that since AT&T has an exclusive deal to offer the iPhone, they don't want people using it primarily on roaming networks.

Don't you think that if I sign up with AT&T and get a plan with unlimited roaming, that maybe I should get... um.... I don't know... unlimited roaming.

This is really funny, I had problems with ATT when they were cingular. Forced me to cancel my plan because I was not using my phone on their network yet my plan covered the area I was using it in.
