macrecon.com — “Everything shown here are the best apps that could put Mac users on the right track towards productivity. I’ve judged their functionality for the average Mac user, and all apps listed are Universal binaries — so they’re future-proof. I know many will enjoy them, because most are free.”

Message to all PC users posting negative comments:Do us all a favor, go out and buy a mac already.

No kidding. This is in the digg apple section, too. What do you expect?

@Frankie4Fingers"Umm, most PC users aren't going to want to buy a Mac to run Windows. They probably won't actually make Vista work on a Mac either."The latest version of Boot Camp supports Vista and Parallels for mac is in the Vista experimental stage.

And be hindered by not having any software, no wonder you need a list of software so you can actually find some...

That's the main reason I did not digg this....for the most part it's the same apps I've seen on a hundred other lists.

@angelpThanks for explaining that before I had to! the Frankie4Fingers guy is probably a Mac guy himself who posts idiotic anti-Mac comments in order to cause a flood of (occasionally) intelligent pro-Mac comments. He is so over-the-top that anyone who doesn't realize this is way to concerned with the Mac vs PC thing.

I just did the unthinkable.I feel dirty.I feel..........unfaithful.I've strayed.I've broken my vows.I betrayed my heart.I just installed Vista 5600 RC1 on my 17" iMac Intel.I'm typing this post from Vista. On my Mac.This is too surreal.I'm not sure what to think.

Welcome to the days where Apple has given in to Intel and Microsoft just to make that sweet, sweet dollar. It won't be long before Mac OS vanishes into the sunset of creativity and Apple is just another Dell or Gateway or Acer or (insert name here). Too bad really.Had Apple gone with AMD and never officially welcomed Windows on their hardware (Bootcamp), maybe things would be different. But it's obvious Apple is conforming just to make money, and innovation will suffer because of it (Leopard sucks so far).
