kotaku.com — This looks like a workstation from The Matrix. Made by Japanese company M-S-Y, this US $500 plus beast features loads of mini-tables for peripherals and extra monitors and speakers. Ladies and gents, we have a winner, a BIG AND EXPENSIVE one.

Exactly what I was thinking.....my "Jerker" desk with the addon swinging arms actually gives me a lot of flexibility. I could easily add smaller supplemental LCDs to my widescreen in the middle. I do agree with some of the comments above....nicely staged to show every possible component in place at once, but what if you actually want to TYPE on the keyboard?

Frankly, I am not that impressed. You are looking at $150 for parts, a router, and an afternoon or two to build it. I think would use the extra and by an aeron office chair.

you own an expensive desk, a laptop and you get stuff from goodwill? I'm sure someone less fortunate could have used that table.

Your idea of an "EXPENSIVE" desk is one that costs $500? Ok... So how's the weather over in Darfur today?

I agree, nothing like a basic flat desk. When you start adding tiers and layers and rotatating peripherial stations and ergonomical table place holdering mechanisms and adequately sized differential platform slats...the whole thing is too much for me.

gravylookout, in case you didn't already know it, IKEA gives all of its creations Swedish names. Despite meaning one thing in English, 'Jerker' is a Swedish boy's name as well.

That is a bit prettier.
