It's not just about the drug, it's about the industrialized use of hemp as well. Once tobacco proves itself as versatile of a plant as hemp, THEN we will stop being so hard on smokers. There is no health benefit from smoking cigarettes. There are plenty from smoking cannabis (if you need it medicinally)
Why not go to prison for a plant? Do you think you have rights to anything that grows in nature? Our leaders are wise and know what is good for us! What's next? You want to pick your own mate? Big Brother knows what type of man/woman is good for you!/sarcasmThe whole Drug War would be silly, if not for all the pain and suffering it has created.
I'll make a deal with you. When the government stops spending my tax dollars to lie about the evils of marijuana and lock up people who aren't harming me or my rights, then I'll stop digging every article with the word marijuana in the title.
