Worth reading! He makes some great points.And even if you specialize in something for your career, I can think of absolutely no disadvantages to learning about as many other fields as possible. It takes a time investment, but if you enjoy learning and keeping your mind stimulated, is there any better way to spend your time?
Love that one.It's not just a simple question of choice though. One can get to the point where it becomes vital to opt for ones generalism. Trying to live the life of a specialist in one area of expertise while being attracted by and gifted for many can be harmful.At the same time the question of life balance can become an issue when following many paths, callings and interests at the same time (emulated multitasking). So one might be challenged to develop ones selfmanagement and multiprojectmanagement skills to a high level...

Excellent read! As always, Tim Ferris is usually right on spot when it comes to lifestyle issues, and this is one of the best examples in my opinion
