Indeed. It seems as if the fear of 9/11 was just starting to subside and some level of sanity returning. Here we go again. What ever happened to the home of the brave?
What gives with the suicide bombing these days? OK so you can turn yourself and other passengers on your flight into a bloody mist of flying bone chips and make the front pages for umpteen days. So you might also get a solemn annual commemoration to mark the event, but you ain't gonna be around to get any benefit.So much better to commit virtual terrorism.Announce a dirty bomb then fire a cap gun in the metro or gather together all the elements you require to appear to be about to commit a violent atrocity without actually doing it then let the evidence be discovered.Either way: total public panic, global coverage and nasty hiccups in the stock exchange. Plus you get the added bonus of being around to see it unfold in the global media.I reckon Osama should just periodically release a video of him going "Boo" every couple of months. Sure would scare the willies out of me.
