If you've read the entire series, he's done it plenty of times, unfortunately having to make it more difficult for Slartibartfast I'm sure, but it wasn't his fault. And Arthur Dent doesn't belong there, he's the best time traveler, he manages to kill someone just by traveling forward in time. He also figured out what 6 times 9 equals.

Apparently it has been far too long since I've read the series (which, yes, I have done). Because I don't remember any time travel at all, with the exception of the restaurant.Oh well, at least I'll have the pleasure of feeling like much of the story is new on the second read.
