According to the figures presented at the Johnmccain web site there was no subtraction of the $12,000 cost from the taxpayer's income. The chart accounts for the tax savings McCain's tax credit affords, alright, but it fails to acknowledge that with McCain's insurance proposal, employers will drop health insurance for their employees, making this a new out of pocket expense for all of us working stiffs.I don't know about anyone else, but for me, a $5,000 tax credits that's saving $2,000 overall in taxes will not make up for the $12,000 you cost me in new out of pocket insurance costs. Please explain if my simple math is incorrect.
