Even after the surge, 70% of American voters want us out of Iraq now. No pro-war candidate will win the general election under these circumstances. < 25% of Americans currently call themselves Republicans, while more than 40% consider themselves Democrats. Look at the Primary results: Twice the number of Democrats are showing up as Republicans. We are getting out of Iraq in 2009. The question is: who will get us out? Ron Paul, the most conservative member of congress? or Clinton/Obama. Rush Limbaugh has said that he would rather give this election to the Dems so that when they fail miserably, We can come back strong in the next election. Can we really afford socialist care in this time of economic uncertainty? Before you submit to 4 years of Democratic Depression, please consider this Economic Recovery Plan and consider Ron Paul as a real alternative:http://www.ronpaul2008.com/Prosperity
you won't get off that easy punk. McTard is broke and fails every time he opens his mouth. It's the economy, stupid. Giuliani and Huckabee fall in Florida. Romney and Ron Paul are the only ones left with enough bank to play on the 5th. The others are all too power hungry to drop, so they will stay in and dilute the warmonger vote for us. Ron Paul is in for the long haul. Better get used to disappointment.
sorry, bad grammar. Way more Democrats are voting than Republicans right now. 550,000 Democrats just voted in South Carolina. 400,000 Republicans voted in South Carolina. No, they are not voting for Ron Paul, or any other Republican. My point is that Ron Paul is the only Republican that stands a chance to win in this environment. You have no idea how many people would vote for RP if they thought he was "electable." All we have to do is bring him to the tipping point.
"after the failure of the Clinton administration, republicans came back miserabally and became worse than the republicans"Yeah, that Bush guy was the greatest thing to happen to the country since THE DEMON CLIN-TON ruined everything
"You have no idea how many people would vote for RP if they thought he was "electable." "Not even the current people voting for him think that he's electable, therefore it still wouldn't be enough to elect him.
You haven't considered the final option:C) Paul and his zealots are whacko, loony conspiracy theorists that only make themselves look stupid everytime they talk. Americans at large know this and ignore everything they say, and will continue to do so.
