Friends of mine recently purchased a house with a commercial style urinal in the GARAGE!WTF?!However, the house was very lovely, only a few years old and cheap!
There was a show on The Travel Channel a couple years ago that counted down the top 10 most unique public restrooms around the world. My favorites were one in South Beach, FL, in an ice cream parlor which had a transparent glass door/wall. When you got inside you flipped a switch that made the wall opaque from the outside, but you could still see out while sitting there. Also one from... Sweden maybe? That was a cylindrical tube outside with the toilet inside, however to prevent vandalism and homeless people sleeping in them at night it would sink down into the ground to be flush with the sidewalk. There was more than one, I believe they were scattered throughout the city with several in each location.

This reminds me of Japanese toilets. They are amazingly high-tech and comfortable and comes with a ton of features.. like urine-analysis, seat warmers and stuff. http://www.theplumber.com/japan.html (No, not Joe the plumber's site)
