I couldn't get past the first 15 seconds of the video because his endless gesticulations were so annoying. I HATE it when people just have to talk with their hands, clap them together now and then for no reason, etc.Next time, just get the behind the camera and do a voice-over. We don't need to look at you, kthx.
@ray901"I was not talking about a MS replacement chip - you can buy 65nm chips online that would be a replacement easily, but I did not realise that they actually glued them to the board..... (talk about lock-in). I don't know what the '3 red lights error' is, sounds like the fix is a hack to me."The 360 uses a custom 3 core processor from IBM based on the Power PC architecture. I seriously doubt you could purchase the 65nm version as a replacement. You can't just walk into a computer store an buy a processor for the 360. Unless, of course, you walk in, purchase another 360, and then swap the processors.See:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_360#Central_processing_unit

""Didn't I just read an article on Engadget stating that it outputted basically the same amount of noise?""Can't you just drop in your own 65nm chip? Though it will costWhat about swapping out the fans for something like a fluid bearing fan (e.g http://www.acousticpc.com/scythe_8dba_sflex_120mm_fan.html) - it's only $16.00?Is this not possible?/serious
