Wow, I need to work on my comprehension skills? Nowhere in any of my posts did I say that one needed to buy all that equipment in order to use their BRD player. I said that they needed it to justify it, because they wouldn't notice a difference without it.Maybe you should spend less time posting a bunch of useless bulls**t on Digg, and more time learning about whatever the hell it is you're talking about. Don't assume you know what kind of equipment I have. I wouldn't consider everyone who owns an expensive home theater system an expert on the subject, nor would I consider everyone who doesn't uninformed. You've succeeded in only making yourself look like a complete ass here. Nice work.
Well, I'll end this by reiterating how sorry I am for you for having bought into something so useless as Blu-Ray, both ideologically and monetarily. The technology is never going to take off the way DVD did, and it will be leapfrogged by something far better in the future when the economy is recovered, and people can afford all the necessary upgrades to accompany it.
