xanga.com — (Via. The Wall Street Journal) While the American have been deported, six refugees remain in custody, like facing repatriation back to North Korea. There, they will face certain death for fleeing the country and having contact with foreigners. China could get away with repatriating them as it had with thousands in the past. Don't let it happen.

Where is the UNHCR, if not coopted or bought by the Chinese? Where is Ban Ki Moon to stand up for his fellow Koreans? Where is the Human Rights Industry, whose shareholders only have ears for Gitmo and Saddam? Where is the US government, which is required under 22 USC 7843 to "facilitate the submission of [asylum] applications" by North Korean refugees who appear at its embassies, but which has admitted less than a dozen North Korean refugees (and refused many more) thus far? Where is South Korea, whose policy toward these people can be encapsulated in the words, "die in place?" They have betrayed the North Korean people, along with their own founding principles. The rest of us must be more willing to act, within the law and up to its limits, to humiliate China for being an accessory to the murder of innocent men, women, and children. Spread the word: China kills North Korean kids. If you plan on attending the Beijing Olympics, then you're part of the reason China is doing this.
