Sorry,I should have been clearer. My two boys use a G5 iMac not because of the design (at 12 and 10 they really don't care), but because I don't want to have to spend a lot of time maintaining their computer. I set it up for auto-backups once a week to an external drive, set the parental controls (which they will no doubt circumvent when they're older), and keep track of where they go on the net. I certainly could have bought them a Windows machine and kept it clean, but it would have taken me more time which is a luxury I don't always have.Security through obscurity? Better security features bult-in? I don't care WHY the Mac is currently (note I said currently. It certainly could change and I don't wear my heart on my sleeve when it comes to OS security) more secure. I just know that is.
