Christiano Ronaldo is having the kind of season now like Ronaldinho had in his first season at Barca. If he can become a true leader of his team and take them to European heights then maybe we can talk. Sure, the boy has lot's of talent, but it takes character to become truly great. I doubt Christiano has that....
I never said overrated.. I wouldn't really agree that he is the best in the world at a lot of those attributes though, a couple at most.Zidane and Giggs have a similar style, they do what's effective to go past a player, without going overboard or being wasteful. If they do a trick you can be pretty sure it was the time and place for that trick, you know? They get the job done and they're still excellent to watch. Thats the way Messi and Rooney play too.I didn't mention Keane because his style was completely different. Agree with your second paragraph, it's very debatable who the best in the world is, even in any one position. Most football fans would probably say Kaká.
I'm not saying that Ronaldihno isn't a great player, but some of the parts in that video were a little questionable. For example, for the move "La falta" was only a shot with some wicked bend. Another one is the "De cap" that one was just a header in the net. Most of the other ones were incredible though.

Ballack is just a clone of the kind of player that was invented by ... Frank Rijkaard.... he seems to see some value in Ronaldinho....<a class="user" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Rijkaard">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Rijkaard</a>

yes, pun intended :) No worries, I'm an arsenal fan as long as they're not playing against Barca or Ajax :)
