I don't know... i thought we just assigning corrupt to the rich. Works for me, seeing as I am not rich myself. If you ask me that's about the same as power == corrupt.
No, just don't be misrepresenting things.I wanted the Dems to win. Had the Dems been in power, I would have wanted them to lose.I hope they take this victory and right some things, not be vindictive and petty. I would like it if our government worked for us.
I don't think elebrio (OP) makes any bones about his/her political persuasion, but the spirit behind this post seems like a bit of sour grapes. When Bush won in 2004 he was out gloating the next day and calling his electoral win a "mandate."To all my republican cohorts: the people have spoken. If you have a problem with that, then you have a problem with the majority of American voters. Suck it up, sunshine, and next time actually consider doing a better job instead of just saying you're doing a great job and all the while screwing the pooch. The people, on the whole, despite your best political subterfuge, are not stupid. Let it be a lesson.
Interesting that the 3 lowest in terms of wealth in the House/Senate/Executive are Republicans?Oh, and the 3 elected richest of the rich is....hold your breath........... Democrats.!

its funny how liberals think republicans are all rich and controlled by the rich, but dems are like the common-man.

Isn't it ironic how republicans who supposedly are the party of hard work and entrepreneurialism just hate Kohl, a self-made millionaire, because he's too rich? When they talk about Kohl all of a sudden we are being oppressed by the elite rich. You have to chuckle when you read what they have to say about Kohl:http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/705573/posts
