How can so many people be so dense? Bush is a Pro Life, Born Again Christian. He is against abortion and against using aborted fetuses for research. His position is consistant with his religious beliefs. You may disagree with this position but he didn't make it in a vacuum or because he is a "clueless idiot".
Why? If they're gonna die anyway, the least we could do is give their sacrifices meaning. Besides, the scientific community agrees that embryonic stem cells are greatly superior to even the pluripotent adult-derived stem cells.
