I think I will do my master's thesis on the PowerGlove: Social Construction of the PowerGlove User : Why good (but still so bad) technology fails? Maybe Nintendo will then hire me, and then the Macgyver game for the Revo will finally come true.

Thanks to my twenties, I rarely remember anything prior to 1993.

The next line in that movie was "Yeah, well, a, just keep your Power Gloves off her, alright."Here's the original commercial for the Power Glove, it's also bad ass:http://www.retrojunk.com/details_commercial/9/Here's the movie trailer for The Wizard (a lot of great games in that movie, 80's tunes, and Christian Slater too):http://www.retrojunk.com/details_trailer/5/This guy uses the power glove as a musical instrument:http://digg.com/mods/Nintendo_PowerPad_and_PowerGlove_used_as_musical_instruments.More info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_glove

I remember my brothers friend coming over and he had bought the power glove.........I thought it was the coolest thing ever(even though it never worked right)! Day after my mom took me to see the wizard I went to Toys "R" us and my brother and I put all our savings($50) together and reserved Super Mario Bros. 3......at the time when we finally got the game I remember thinking that the graphics were so incredible that I would never imagine anything better!*p.s. power pad was cool too!
