torrentfreak.com — The BBC has published a podcast which takes a look at piracy through the ages, also covering the modern concept of ‘intellectual property’. Of course, no story of piracy would be complete without discussing The Pirate Bay so Peter Sunde also plays a significant part in this 20 minute program.

However you dress it up, you're still a thief. If you buy a bar of chocolate from Walmart, eat half of it and decide you don't like it, you can't take it back.Piracy makes you stupid as you've amply displayed.

Not caused by radiation, but by inhaling after a round burns through armor. When a DU round hits armor it melts and lots of it are turned to dust that can be inhaled. The radiation level from DU is actually very low and is safe to handle by hand or even sleep every night with a round under your pillow. Just don't shoot it at armor and run up and breath in the dust. The masks our solders wear can protect against this, which is probably why we didn't see an issue with Gulf War Syndrome in 2003 even though we used the rounds just the same.

Media piracy in simple terms may be theft, but people are failing to recognize or address the point that it's a reaction against industries that have lost their focus on high-quality cost-efficient products. I shouldn't have to pay for packaging if I don't want. If I'm buying an album from a relatively unknown, up-and-coming musician, that price shouldn't be inflated to cover the costs of other groups on that record label, or to give their execs a luxury lifestyle while the artists themselves have to make their money almost exclusively from touring. Movies are discouragingly expensive too, and I fail to sympathize with those filthy rich bastards for losing a little revenue on home sales after they pulled in multi-millions from the (also discouragingly expensive) box office. Provide a better product at a lower cost in a convenient format and I think you'll see piracy numbers decline, though never go away.Remember, these same people probably copied audio and video cassettes by the hundreds without any guilt, and probably for the same reasons.
