torrentfreak.com — The BitTorrent trackers sitting in the depths of The Pirate Bay are there for the benefit of the people, to help them distribute bandwidth intensive media worldwide at no cost. But when anti-piracy companies like Media Defender of MiiVi infamy abuse that service, it's time to bring out the plank. They're not welcome.

Nah... there are probably plenty of poor sods behind those IPs who use TPB to get their daily XviD fix, and it would just not be fair of TPB to keep them away from the excellent services TPB provides ;)

I'm lovin' it! Media Defender is gonna go broke if they try to pull their usual "let's spy on on people's Internet usage without their knowledge" routine. I'd love to hear the MPAA, RIAA, etc. all say no comment when asked about why their private investigative contractor just went bankrupt :D

I don't think they could win considering they may have to be present for the trial and well if they were to show their heads here they would themselves be arrested and sent to gitmo and be labeled terrorists etc. What would REALLY be funny is if Media Defenders put a /legal page on their site and posted TPB's letter so we all can see it and still laugh at Media Defenders because they suck.
