torrentfreak.com — The Pirate Bay is messing with Hollywood again, as they’ve put up a new logo which links to pirated copies of the blockbuster movie “The Dark Knight”. Although Warner did all it can to protect the film from leaking, a Cam version leaked onto BitTorrent sites soon after it premiered.

I think you're misremembering. The only time you got quality rips like that was if it was Oscar season and the studio happened to be sending out promotional DVDs to Academy members for a movie that was still in theatres. The big example of that is the Lord of the Rings series where each of the movies leaked around 4 weeks after opening. And it WASN'T Suprnova closing down that stopped it. It was the Academy tracing the films back to the member who was leaking them (Carmine Caridi).

Inaccurate.A "leak" is when a copy of the movie comes from an inside source before the movie opens. A "leak" implies someone improperly divulged something they were given proper access to.A "cam" is just that, some dude with a camcorder in a theater.TDK was not leaked by anyone. It was cammed and shared.BTW this movie rocks beyond rocking. Don't ruin it by watching a crappy cam. Hell, watching it on anything less than Blu-Ray on 50" or above would be ruining it.If you can, see the IMAX version.
