He/she just does.Right there is the key, he/she doesn't need a made up cloud in the sky telling him to help or to care for others.Not all atheists are the same, though, I'm sure there are others who might not help, just like people from any religion - except that the mugging teenagers were probably indoctrinated that a big cloud up in the sky will punish them for mugging her. But they still do it.

Hurting, yes. But I don't think they are hurting that much. The main damage that the Anonymous project has done is in reducing the recruiting pool - informing people (largely via Diggspamming - sorry, everyone, but it was the best way) of how to recognise the church's operations and how to avoid them. But it's really no more than an annoyance and a slight delay for them.

Lots of interesting posts on their forums by kids who were born and raised Scientologists. And to think I thought being raised Catholic was so horrible. I truly feel for those kids.
