300 sucked as a movie. To be fair though, I consider the storyline, character development, and philosophical meaning much more important then any CGI. So I suppose you are right in a way. As long as movie goers are going to see some pretty graphics, the bigger the screen the better. Infact, IMAX, will probably keep on getting more and more sales.
Unless I read in the fine print of my ticket that I am paying for just the privilege to witness the information that one specific time, I should be free to interpret the terms of the contract as paying the cinema transmitting one instance of that movie, and for any of the work associated with that transmission.

I just hope the Simpsons will finally, after this movie, bow out gracefully. Dont be the Roger Clemens of TV.
