torrentfreak.com — The Pirate Bay has announced that it will file a complaint to ask for compensation from the IFPI for the traffic which was destined for its site, but blocked by the Danish ISP Tele2. If they win, the money will be spent on funding independent artists who share their music for free on filesharing sites.

I agree - complete s**te. NO-ONE uses TPB to listen to unsigned artists.

Somehow I doubt that's a minus point for some of them...

They make profit... off of free torrents that anyone can download? Riiiight.

Someone needs to shoop the Demonoid demon riding the Pirate Bay ship...

agreed 100%. 99.9% of creative people want the retarded thieves running the pirate bay to be where they belong -> in a cell or six feet under. the fact that half a dozen stoned hippies think that they can pay their rent by giving away music for free does not invalidate the sensible attitude of the other 99.9%.

If you know a drug dealer who once bought a pint of beer, is he legit too? we all know 99.9% of TPBs content is stolen. don't delude yourself.

This is f**king stupid, they're suing because someone infringed on their right to host illegal content?
moushApr 16, 2008
If they don't know the whereabouts, how can they sue? Stupid ****s.
