Yeah, it's more about adding some value to the game, things you wouldn't think to do otherwise. I don't care much about the gamer score, but the achievements simply give you more to do, and I appreciate that.

At least there's loads of junk around in Episode 1, beating Ravenholm with only the gravity gun sounds quite difficult, especially when you're stuck on those tiny landings with the zombies climbing up pipes to get at you - not a lot of junk on small platforms to shoot at them =/
