lukeatron you have constructed an excellent straw man argument, therefore I commend you.Where did I say anything about the evils of gaming or that these things should be banned? Way to take the short film and this casual discussion very seriously. All I said was I am glad he mentioned the dangers of these types of games that suck up large amounts of time. It has been brought up that people find it difficult to spend 70 hours a week playing most normal CASUAL games, but with WoW it is almost necessary.. natural. You either have to caution yourself, know your weaknesses.. or perish. I don't care if you want to be a f**king loser and waste your life being a fat piece of s**t WoW player... go right ahead.. I myself will take my warning and be grateful I was warned instead of finding this out when it is too late.Today I will have created no fewer than 7 pieces of art, learned as many new words of a language (Arabic) walked a mile and gone for a drive in the sunset... I know that I haven't wasted my day and can game if I feel the urge. I may instead go and practice a musical instrument. These outlets help vent emotion and keep me same. Same thing goes with watching TV. It is just as unhealthy as playing wow because you are inactive and alone for long periods. It isn't the games that kill.. it is the incredible loneliness and anti-social behavior that the games seem to aggravate and encourage in people that kill and waste lives.
This guy's argument is that entertainment, in a high level of consumption, is bad for you, and his scapegoat example is video games. I hope this douche never watches TV, watches a movie,? reads a book, plays a board game, or even fiddles around with a rubix? cube for the rest of his life, because he might become overweight and have another divorce, just like "the video games" did to him earlier. It's called moderation you f**king ass clown.

Dear nubbins,For your reading. Please, afterword.. feel free to provide any Halo or Gears of War or any Xbox game suicides and murders you find. We will then compare those stats. That is all I want you "to tell" me about. You know what comes out of community of gamers? More ideas for more games and getting jobs making games. So there can be more games! (exaggeration)
