Yeah I think this guy is way over analyzing why Redbox didn't carry 'Free Willy'. It doesn't carry 'Free Willy' because it was a movie made for kids in 1993. I'm sure Redbox doesn't carry 3 Ninjas, Honey We Shrunk the Kids, Blank Check, Heavyweights, Angels in the Outfield or Home Alone either. Just sayin'- there's only so many movies you can put into a damn box... no matter how awesome those movies are.

What kind of library are you at? My local library only stocks really old and obscure movies, and still has mostly VHS. There's no way I can go there and check out "Sherlock Holmes."

That's totally sad. I am guess I am very fortunate.In our Library system (Lee Count in SW Florida), there is well over 20,000 DVD titles available. Television series, new releases, crazy old exploitation films, foreign films, indy films, you name it.I am a Librarian where I work, and for our opening day order I got to pick out 6000 DVD movies just for my building!The best part about it, you can check out 7 dvd's for 7 days for free.Don't even get me started about all of our down loadable content, audiobooks, and cd's.Most modern Libraries that I know of are similar to us.We have to evolve to compete or we become irrelevant.Next time wherever you live votes on that Library millage, you should definitely vote yes. The small increase you will see to your taxes is sooooooo worth it!
