For example, in the inner lining of the small intestine, cells turn over in a week or less. In the pancreas, the turnover time may be as long as a year or more.Sometimes the rate of cell division to replace cells depends on the state or size of the tissue. True, but what about reproduction? Will there be no more children and the humans that exist in this virtual world just live forever? And what about our bodies? Will we just destroy them? Or will our digital selves be a copy of our physical mind? If or digital minds are in fact copies, I think they would eventually want total control and that could lead to a war of some kind. Thats a good idea for a movie (don't steal it!!)
