I'm not saying that ID is true, but I figure something started the big bang and that the Bible's rendition of events may be a good metaphor for how things began 13.7 billion years ago ish. I believe in science AND evolution, and I even know several Baptist ministers and many other Christians that share my beliefs. So please, don't lump all Christians in with the same idiots on the far-right that claim we poofed into existence 10,000 years ago.
Wow, look at that, the C.O.P. office from Boston finally chimed in! Does Phil know that you made that comment? I'm not sure how excited he would be that you are actually participating in a dialog. I like the part where you actually admit that not too many people would know about the Christian Science Textbook or for that matter the religion! Isn't your office responsible for that?
It has nothing to do with income, when missionaries go to Africa to tell them of the good news do you think the church they come from gets any profit from helping a small tribe establish their own church? No.
