No, it's not a bogus argument, because it's THE TRUTH. Perjury and obstruction of justice were Clinton's crimes, and don't forget that morality was judged an impeachable offense in times past, so we could legitimately add adultery to the list. If you say that any of these things have no bearing on how a person leads, you are morally blinded. Yes, go on and ask any ordinary American what the problem with Clinton was and they'll tell you first that he was an immoral person, and if they know more, they'll go for the perjury, obstruction of justice, and maybe even throw in allowing hi-tech systems to be sold to the Chinese. Don't play games with "ordinary Americans", as "MoveOn" doesn't represent them, but rather people who wanted to see Clinton's reputation untarnished.
Is it me, or are the American people actually getting DUMBER as Bush nears the end of his final term? Maybe they're light-headed with giddiness or something, but I gotta say, it seems like they've completely forgotten every promise of transformation, change and revolution that they promised themselves during the height of Bush's reign. Maddeningly they've instead agreed to settle for the status quo in a new colour. Why would any self-professed "liberal" support Barack Obama? I can't understand it. I can only assume that the kool-aid has finally done some damage. You want to elect a man who has professed his love and support for Israel, a man who has repeatedly threatened Iran with invasion or worse, a man has pledged his support for the drug war... and you call that "change"? Have you completely lost your minds? I guess that $10 million dollar advertising campaign has really done a number on you. As someone who might have once sympathised with you, I'm ashamed of what you've become. Voting for the illusion rather than the reality. It's insane.Ron Paul 08, by the way. Yeah, in case you'd forgotten, he's still the only candidate supporting a full withdrawal, still the only candidate pledging no more nation-building and interference, still the only candidate with a plan to fix your s**tty economy, still the only candidate who'll disassemble the DEA and finally put a stop to a war that's been waged against the American people for 70 years. Still the only candidate representing any sort of change.
@Lukesed-Admittedly, and that's why the organization runs on donations, you're free to come and go as you wish. With the last 30 years of Republican dirty politics, I can't blame a chunk on the left for wanting to throw bombs as well.
What is there to disagree? What is wrong with voting for Ron Paul? Why on EARTH would you want to vote for somebody who does not have the credentials that Ron Paul has? Why do you want to vote for somebody who does not want to abolish the IRS? If Ron Paul is so bad, why are Democrats FLOODING to change their status to Republican just to vote for him? You obviously have not done your homework on him. A DEMOCRAT is the one who told me about Ron Paul in the first place! And this same person HATES REPUBLICANS. You are SHEEP because you are so f**king ignorant for voting for Obama instead of Ron Paul. If you did your homework on Ron Paul, you would see what an idiot you are for voting for Obama over Ron Paul.
