in Thai cinemas, you don't have to sing along to the anthem. you just stand to respect the King. no singing or anything. and I've not stood before, and not got arrested. it's not a strict law. none of the laws regarding the king are strict, as long as you're not being DISrespectful.
I may be wrong about this, but usually changing the law involves changing some of the words involved in the makeup of that law. Oh, and you're a f**ktard.
Okay, why was this person dugg down for mentioning the absurdity of pot prohibition, *especially* considering how many Digg articles make the front page about legalization or the medical benefits of smoking it? I also think it's absurd and believe it's deserving of a place on the list. And unlike some of the other poorly researched laws in the article, this is actually frighteningly true. Does it make sense to anyone here that one should receive capital punishment or retardedly lengthy sentences for possession in some South Pacific countries?
totally agree. The manipulation is BS. DivineCaroline.com Spam. EVERY DAY!! 1 or 2 articles hit the front page. Just pay attention. This is clearly a situation where they are gaming digg. Also notice that anyone who mentions this trend or anything negative about divinecaroline hitting the front page so often is immediately dugg down.

Sodomy laws protect us all, I feel better knowing they're on the books.

Singapore has the sanest laws. On a side note, if you're a bowman in York, I'm coming after you.
