backporch.fanhouse.com — The "Man Wall" features four TVs, a keg-erator with tap, a 32-bottle wine rack, two cigar humidors, 5-disc DVD player, iPod dock, 1000 watt microwave oven, and even a freaking sports ticker running up top with a full year's worth of service. And it's "only" $15,000.

how does $5k worth of stuff warrant a $15k price tag?

Why 15 grand? you can have a custom wall unit built for about a 1000 (and I am being generous at that price), the flat screens would run another grand. Add all the rest of the stuff (including direct-tv with DVR's) and you are at about 4 grand max for everything and that is at retail prices.

Did my own man cave. Ran all the cabling, including making my own speaker cables. Already had the pool table, and spent well under 15K for everything else (lcd tv, speakers, receiver, blu-ray, chairs, etc).Pics (excuse the quality - taken with my iphone):<a class="user" href="http://i29.tinypic.com/2mzdwjm.jpg">http://i29.tinypic.com/2mzdwjm.jpg</a><a class="user" href="http://i27.tinypic.com/14k8lyf.jpg">http://i27.tinypic.com/14k8lyf.jpg</a><a class="user" href="http://i26.tinypic.com/23ronkx.jpg">http://i26.tinypic.com/23ronkx.jpg</a><a class="user" href="http://i25.tinypic.com/2yll6pw.jpg">http://i25.tinypic.com/2yll6pw.jpg</a><a class="user" href="http://i32.tinypic.com/11i0cgw.jpg">http://i32.tinypic.com/11i0cgw.jpg</a><a class="user" href="http://i29.tinypic.com/2sankbb.jpg">http://i29.tinypic.com/2sankbb.jpg</a><a class="user" href="http://i27.tinypic.com/2imbdc4.jpg">http://i27.tinypic.com/2imbdc4.jpg</a>

a humidor below a tv and beside a VCR is a terrible place for cigars... all the heat from the "Man wall" will make it tough to maintain the 70% humidity and 70 degree temperatures.......

One LCD panel? You missed the point. That's a basic HT, not a man-cave/wall/anything.
