In an effort to stop HD-DVD posts from the Digg community from Digg bots and multiple accounts. Digg will become a paid subscription site where only those who pay will be allowed to visit. This will stop people from creating accounts, or the destroying of the site by one string of code. I hope you are happy Digg community, as many Diggers will be when this comes into action.
To those of you saying f**k censorship and that this is going to make our lives Orwellian, get a f**king clue. A goddamn website has gotten threatened. It is prudent to remove offending material until they can sort out their legal liabilities. You assh**es who are spamming the code are only ending up looking like kids throwing a tantrum. Digg =|= the government. Digg is a service that you pay nothing for, and those who run it have a right to cover themselves legally.If this issue is so painful to you, so important, Just leave. That will impact digg far more than any spamming you can possibly do. Stop acting like babies.

I'm surprised they haven't added a filter in for basic ways to write out the code yet. Wouldn't stop people, but it would slow them down pretty good. We would have to get creative.
