And of universal health care is a communist program, what have you to say of George W. Bush's prescription drug plan? Has Bush taken one step to end the federal department of education? No he hasn't and neither would John McCain. The US economy needs less government programs, lower government taxes and an end to bombing and occupying other countries. Modern day liberal policies that tax and spend will come to an end, the only question is how it is going to end, with lots of inflation or with a return to practical economic policies like those espoused by Ron Paul. The problem with your comparison to Canada, the UK and France is that none of those countries have to pay for dozens of foreign military bases. Ron Paul has told us that the days of guns and butter are going to end and the only question is how soon, because the US cannot continue to afford both. Have you checked the price of gold is US dollars lately? $900 and up. That isn't a sign that the US economy is doing well?http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Gold+standard ...
Right on...a differentiation needs to be made. Many are liberal in terms of Federal government power...others are liberal in terms of personal liberty and self autonomy. The same logic can also be applied to the term conservative.

I see someone (subby) took the "don't include Ron Paul's name in the Title or Summary" trick to heart.

I vote for John McCain is a vote for four more years of George W. Bush policies, an occupation of Iraq for 100 years, four more years of the Federal Reserve playing the public for fools over changes to the interest rates and ever continuing inflation - now that is something I am not looking forward to. I shudder to think of how high the price of gold might go if John "Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran" McCain is elected.http://www.5yearstoomany.org/http://whoishillaryclinton.name/http://christinesmithforpresident.com/http://www.runcynthiarun.org/One day, standard Republican/Democrat scare tactics are going to stop working. I think that day has arrived.
