Last month my uncle was given a 20% chance of living six months if he could get chemotherapy but due to an infection he will not get it. Last week the doctors gave him three weeks to live.

I wish we could not digg this, but give it a thumbs down. I mean how can i digg something so horrible and awful. Something to show that this is bad. Like "I don't digg this." Like when we here of another stupid horrible thing Bush is trying to do, I don't digg that. I hate that.
As a Vietnamese-American i have to agree with you 100%. Yes agent orange could very well be the cause of some of those cases, but the lack of health care and low quality of life are also to blame. People often looking for things to blame for a tragic situation, fact is there are birth defects all over the world and they're all sad sad situations. If you visit Viet Name right now you can see that it is a beautiful country full with friendly people.
people in developing countries such as Vietnam, Thailand rely on affordable pesticides like DDT to control Malaria and Dengue fever. These countries are very jungle like and controlling infectious diseases is huge challenge. If you bother to read up AID organizations like the Red Cross, Unicef and the UN highly recommend these countries to try to control these deadly outbreaks with environmental controls. If you think it would be doing them a favor to not allow them to use pesticides you are very mistaken and misguided
Don't you guys know that ALL birth defects in Vietnam are related to Agent Orange? ..... Wait a minute there not? OK, then a LARGE percentage... just look at the study... wait, the article doesn't quote a study?

You can sign a paper saying a war is over but to this day the effects of the Vietnam War and other wars still linger for many.
