I like how he tries to fit "Under the Bridge" in by singing it at a completely different tempo. There's no way those chords are the same as that song, I would've noticed if they were.
Hmmm, as a student working towards being a teacher of music thoery, I find a few things funny about all of this. Way up there Klisk is saying "I hate people who can read music/live by theory." Can I ask why? Plus, simply "reading music" is something quite different from "understanding". I also read that in a later comment you have a friend who says theory has turned into a negative thing for him. I'm sorry to hear that, he must've had a poor teacher. Theory, notated or aural, can really open up you musical horizons. Promise ;). Then here comes "MusicalGenius"... wow what a name. He says above "If someone is limited to 4 chords in all they write, they are not a real musician." Wow buddy... apparently you need to get some q-tips for your ears! The best example of how absurd your comment was is any kind of modal music, like modal jazz. Miles Davis' So What uses all of TWO chords. Then we have "gpit2286" saying "Moving to Bach and Mozart... They used V-I cadences out the wazoo. Moving on.. Beethoven knew the power of V-I cadences, and used them a lot." Um... ya... I hope Mozart and Beethoven knew the power of a perfect authentic cadence, SEEING AS HOW IT IS THE BASIS OF ALL TONAL MUSIC!!! Peoples, please don't go lecturing about things you don't know!

If you need more proof that modern music is bad, you should listen to this Nickelback compilation where they put "How You Remind Me" on the right channel playing at the same time as "Someday" on the left.http://www.riserock.com/xmas/nickelbacksucks.mp3

I assume he didn't mention Journey because it was implied? Those chords are instantly recognizable as Don't Stop Believin'

Now I know why I didn't recognize most of them.
